Things to Do – Visit the Haunted Whaley House

With the Halloween holiday approaching, discussions of ghosts, ghouls, goblins, and the supernatural become commonplace. While there are many haunted house scattered around the U.S., San Diego has one that has been recognized as one of the most haunted houses in America.

The Whaley House isn’t the run of the mill haunted house that appears this time of year where costumed actors scare visitors, but rather the one where unexplained things happen. People experience extreme differences in temperature; people see things; visitors have a feeling of being watched, etc. They even have a photo album of ghostly photographs people have taken while visiting the museum.

Ghost hunters and psychics alike have experienced paranormal activities. In addition, average people have witnessed things they can’t explain.

During October, the Whaley House will be open at night offering visitors an opportunity to experience the historic home, but maybe even have a ghostly encounter of their own.

All of our San Diego County Resorts are within close proximity to the Whaley House, which is located in historic Old Town. Make your reservations now!
